The Hannover Langenhagen Airport (HAJ) is located in Langenhagen, 11 km north of the center of Hannover. The airport has flights connecting Hannover with all major European metropolitan and international destinations. Moreover, other international airports are also located nearby: Hamburg Airport (HAM), Paderborn Airport (PAD), Münster/Osnabrück Airport (FMO) and Bremen Airport (BRE). Intercontinental connections are available from Hannover via Frankfurt (FRA) and Munich (MUC).
The S5 S-Bahn suburban train (Hannover Airport Line) is situated in Terminal C and runs every 30 minutes from 03:35 a.m. – 01:05 a.m.. This train connects the Hannover Airport to Hannover city center and the journey takes around 18 minutes (check your personal connection: www.bahn.com/en).

Hannover Main Station (Hannover Hauptbahnhof) is located in the center of the city Hannover. This main railway station is the most important public transport center in Lower Saxony and provides links to all German conurbation areas, such as Berlin, Frankfurt, Bremen, Stuttgart, München, Hamburg, Dresden, Göttingen, Aachen and Köln (www.bahn.com/en).

Hannover’s Central Bus Station (ZOB) is located right in the city center and just next to the main railway station. Busses from all the main intercity routes and long-distance coach lines stop here. It provides excellent links to the local public transport network.

Hannover is an important motorway junction in Germany. The motorways A2 (running east-west) and A7 (running north-south) allow a fast and comfortable drive to Hannover.
