Thank you for submitting your abstract to the Coastal Structures 2019 conference! Decisions regarding the abstracts have now been sent out. Information regarding the submission of full papers can be found here. The full paper submission deadline is May 15th, 2019. Please note that the early-bird deadline for registration is June 30th, 2019.
On behalf of the Coastal Structures 2019 Organizing and Scientific Committees, it is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the newest edition of the Coastal Structures conference, hosted by the Coastal Research Center (Forschungszentrum Küste, FZK). Coastal Structures 2019 will take place in Hannover, the provincial capital of Lower Saxony, Germany, from the 30th of September to 2nd of October 2019, and will build upon the successes of previous conferences.
Coastal Structures 2019 is intended to provide a forum to present and discuss the latest developments in coastal protection. It focuses on all aspects related to as well as effects on coastal structures, such as climate change impact and extreme events.
Coastal Structures is an international conference series and is held every four years. Recent meetings have been successfully held in Santander, Spain (1999), Portland, USA (2003), Venice, Italy (2007), Yokohama, Japan (2011) and Boston, USA (2015).
Coastal Structures 2019 is organized in collaboration with the Federal Waterways Engineering and Research Institute (BAW), Germany, and supported by the American Society of Civil Engineering’s (ASCE) Coasts, Oceans, Ports, and Rivers Institute (COPRI). Coastal Structures 2019 will provide a stimulating and enriching forum to discuss the latest developments in coastal science. Keep up to date on the conference news on our Latest News page.
